Hello, Jacqueline here!

Anyone who know me knows that sharing my story in hopes to help others feel less alone and more inspired is at my core! It's the reason why I tweak people's homes and blog about health and style.

I believe that the silver lining in surviving a tough upbringing is to inspire others by sharing any experiences or lessons I've learned. Since the age of 18 I've been a guest speaker at more than 15 events.

Resiliency

My first speaking engagement was on "resiliency in youth" at Dartmouth College to a group of professors and community members. I shared my story of surviving a less than ideal childhood and how communities can help other struggling youth.

There's so much that we can do to overcome adversity in life. I love sharing my mindset and lifestyle tweaks that helped me beat the odds and not become a product of my upbringing.

Style for Success

I was always tweaking my home style and outfits to clear my mind and to inspire a productive day. In some ways it was something I could control in a chaotic situation. 

Both our home style and wardrobe style have profound affects on our confidence and mindset. I believe that we all deserve to have a home that feels safe and is filled with reminders of our goals and our style. I believe that dressing for the part we dream of will bring us that much closer to realizing those dreams.

Healthy Lifestyle

Throughout my life I've had to battle depression and anxiety and overcome foot and back surgery all while growing up around family with bi-polar disorder, alcoholism, drug addiction and other mental health issues. I learned very early on that genetically my health was very fragile so I did everything I could to prioritize my health. I used healthy eating, exercise, self help books, counseling and a growth mindset to conquer depression and anxiety. 

I worked in fitness and dance for 10 years and love helping other people integrate healthy habits for a happier lifestyle.
